Place 3 to 5 drops in the palm of your hand, then gently massage into the face, body and/or hair, avoiding contact with the eyes. The precious oil can be used every day, morning or evening, as you wish.

Morning routine

Apply every morning after cleansing the face and body, preferably before applying cream, to allow the skin to absorb the treatment.

Night routine

Apply every evening after cleansing the face and body, just before going to bed, so that the active ingredients penetrate throughout the night as the skin regenerates.

Yes, you can use an oil on oily skin, as long as you choose the right oil. Contrary to popular belief, some oils are capable of regulating sebum production and restoring the complex balance of your epidermis.

Here are some plant oils recommended for oily skin:

• Jojoba oil: Similar to the sebum produced by the body, this oil is highly prized by our skin and helps to rebalance sebum production.
• Black cumin oil: Antibacterial, black cumin oil effectively eliminates skin imperfections.
• Hemp oil: Deeply moisturises the skin without leaving a greasy finish.

It's important to note that even if oily skin doesn't need to be nourished, hydration is essential. Poor hydration could encourage the epidermis to produce even more sebum in order to hydrate itself, aggravating the vicious circle of oily skin. So it's essential to work directly on the skin with the right skincare products.

Pure prickly pear seed oil is an oil extracted from the seeds of the fruit by cold pressing. It differs from an oily macerate, which is an infusion of the plant in another oil.

Prickly pear flower is rich in flavols, flavones, and phenolic acids, particularly gallic acid, a powerful antioxidant. It helps prevent skin aging, soothes sensitive skin, reduces dark spots, and evens out skin tone. It also provides natural protection against external aggressions.

Prickly pear seed oil is recognized for its anti-aging, moisturizing and regenerating properties. Rich in antioxidants, it combats skin aging and improves elasticity.

Its high price is due to its rarity and its production method. It takes about a ton of fruit to produce 50 kg of seeds, producing a single liter of oil, as each seed contains very little oil.

Its very low comedogenic index makes it ideal for oily or acne-prone skin.

It can also be used on hair to nourish ends or scalp, and on nails to strengthen and moisturize cuticles.

It is natural and can be used during pregnancy or when breast-feeding, but as with any product, it is advisable to carry out a skin test beforehand and seek medical advice if necessary.

Our oil comes from Portugal. It is sourced from certified organic farming in the south of the country, with the entire supply chain carefully monitored. Cultivation follows rigorous agricultural practices: natural fertilization, water management, and pollination.
The extraction is carried out cold to preserve the integrity of the active compounds, with a strict process of seed separation, cleaning, and drying to ensure a premium-quality oil, cold-pressed, water-free, and preservative-free.

We cold-press prickly pear seeds at full maturity, when they are naturally rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin E, and sterols. Unlike traditional methods, especially those from Morocco, which often press too early, our oil is far more concentrated in active compounds. It shows an exceptional content of phenolic compounds: 444 mg of gallic acid per gram of oil, an absolute record.
