Hemp (seeds oil)

Nom latin: Cannabis Sativa.

Actifs: Skin regenerating, Soothing, Hydrating, Softening, Antioxidant.

Botany:

Hemp belongs to the large family Cannabinaceae and the genus Cannabis. There are several families of cannabis which differ from each other in the psychotropic substance content of their seeds. The best known, but also the one we use, is Cannabis Sativa. It is an annual plant that grows wild all over the world. It germinates in the spring and flowers from late summer to late October. It is grown mainly in Africa, Asia and South America. We use a variety of cannabis whose seeds do not contain any psychotropic substances (THC). The plant has no value as a drug. The plant looks like a small bush or shrub with dark green leaves in the shape of a fir tree.

Manufacturing:

In a screw press, the healthy and cleaned seeds are pressed in a first cold press, without any solvent or chemical intervention. The oil is then successively filtered on blotting paper. The oil is then stored away from light and heat.

Properties:

Virgin hemp oil has moisturising, firming and repairing properties and its daily application strengthens the structure of the skin tissue, protecting the skin from the signs of time. It is also known for its protection and hydration.
