Argan (oil)

Nom latin: Argania spinosa.

Actifs: Softening, Toning, Regenerating, Protecting, Nourishing.

The argan tree, Argania Spinosa, family Sapotaceae, is a thorny tree with edible fruit and an oleaginous kernel found mainly in the arid hills of Morocco and more rarely in the regions of Andalusia and Mexico.

In a screw press, the healthy and cleaned seeds are pressed in a first cold press, without any solvent or chemical intervention. The oil is then successively filtered on blotting paper. The oil is then stored away from light and heat.

Argan oil, regenerating, softening, thanks to the linoleic acid which is known to be very effective, improves the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It is renowned for its toning properties and is ideal for anti-ageing treatments. Rich in antioxidants, it nourishes and repairs the skin.
